Emergency room Review Essay Example
Emergency room Review Paper Essay on Emergency room Emergency room a disgusting book. Tatiana Solomatina now probably be delighted: Dada! After all, there is so much blood, so much meat! Thats disgusting! . But I hasten to disappoint the author, the book is disgusting in the most banal literary sense of the word. First, the Emergency room has no plot, which would not be ashamed to utter in an idle conversation. The protagonist a young man without a flaw, and with a phenomenal memory comes to work in the hospital, where the first sight falls in love with a girl without a single blemish, on the same day marry her, and in the interval between these two events drinks some vodka. Agree with such a trivial story line of the book, many will not tell Second, the book the characters are drawn from series category C:. They or wise Kaa (and then all listen to him, open-mouthed), or jealous loser (and he is jealous, the losers, the jealous again), or it is unfortunate family man (and then suffer the fate of the only on this occasion). Archetypes of characters are registered at the level of teen literature, which does not really fit in the hospital chamber mode. Heroes recite endless multi monologues, the third sentence of which the real interlocutor asked friends to relax. The characters speak to each other nasty things, which opponents react understanding sigh: Yeah, Im a loser, and the life I suck and with a sweet smile opens the door to the winner. Heroes do not feel any emotion other than a quiet romantic sadness that would not happen to them -. The divorce, sex, or production meeting the award The very same writer operates unreadable multistory compound sentence, vulgar turns and banal cliches. Add to this the constant quoting is fairly mediocre poems Tatiana Solomatina beloved husband, unforgivable mistakes in quotations of Soviet cinema and you get the literary basis of the book. Oh yeah, I forgot more about one authors reception the writer loves allusions, but each of them for loyalty marks snosochkoy bottom of the page: The allusion to the film The Pokrovsky Gates - cute and touching From the point of view of food for. mind and heart book is empty and meaningless in terms of eye candy worthless and poor. If the author believes that the detailed description of the birthing process (! Its crown room) it carries fastidious reader and it opens up new horizons of consciousness, then it is wrong: in the mouth Solomatina process of childbirth does not look more spectacular than the tire changing process .

Change your lense and change your world Essays Change your lense and change your world Essay Change your lense and change your world Essay Change Your Lens and Change Your World The book starts with the story of the writer Facie Seal himself. The story concludes how a boy of sixteen years started supporting himself by teaching the primary classes and after getting married at the age of Just 17 with nothing in his hand to support him, he struggles very hard to fulfill his promise. Then he moves abroad for higher education for his family and come back after completing his education to serve his country. Still he was feeling something missing despite of having a good job. Then after extensive soul search and self-analysis he finds that he was made for mom other purpose so he started guiding, leading, motivating people through different books, seminars, coaching classes and counseling. The story itself is very motivating and gives a lesson that one must continue his struggle in any condition and have faith in the Almighty. Then the writer clears a few myths about success by explaining the examples of successful people , how they faced problems and difficulties through their Journey to attain success. In the first chapter writer focuses on accepting the responsibility of ones life. He believes hat the prime cause of failure is not accepting the responsibility of life and whatever good or bad the life of a person is; it is all due to the choices he has made. One must challenge the status and believe that he deserves the best, as he is unique. He should stop blaming and complaining and tell himself that I am consciously and willingly choosing the response to any situation or event. He must consider a fact that whatever response he chooses will have a major impact on his life. As a whole an individual must totally accept the responsibility for his career, health, happiness, mime, past, present and future etc. In the second chapter the writer emphasizes that a person must know himself. Knowing oneself nears that a person must know who he is, why is he created and what are his preferences, liking and disliking in his life. He must understand the contribution that he can make towards his own life. Facie explain that one should never be a copycat and he must have a belief that I am unique and special and no one in this universe is like me. One easy way to choose the career as well as a life purpose statement is to develop a hierarchy of preference. These preferences might include money, respect, appreciation, recognition and many more. In the third chapter the writer suggest that after soul searching and self-analysis the next step towards successful life is to define and develop a mission and a vision. One must understand that life without aim and vision is Just like a boy without soul and a flower without fragrance. He believes that the successful people go to their love not to their work. Lives without dreams and vision will not be motivated enough to achieve something. Facie suggest that for define preferences one should list down activities that he enjoys. Then using these preferences and activities one should Attlee Nils Nilsson statement. Tater Tie Nilsson statement one must Attlee a career for him. After assuming the responsibility of life, discovering the purpose of life and setting up the vision, the forth chapter involves starting to think positively. One thing common in successful people is that they are extremely positive thinkers (optimistic). Even after extreme sever condition they still believed that there is always sunshine after the thunderstorm. One must believe that there is some benefit from even each disaster. Always a high self-image can help a person thinking positively so developing a self image is crucial. The writer suggest that one must program himself for success by learning the vocabulary of success by using big positive words to express himself. One must keep believe in himself, his missions dreams no matter what others think about him. In the fifth chapter writer explain that no matter how good the plan might be how motivated a person is. Nothing is going to happen unless a person takes some vital decision convert his plans into action. For a start one person must developed a detailed plan for his mission. The detailed plan includes weekly/monthly activities goals. One must take thoughtful decision then he should stay very committed to his decision. For attaining success one vital thing is to bear pain a sacrifice. A person must decide against a short-term benefits in contrast with the long-term benefits. One must save time for important vitiates stay committed to make progress towards ones mission. To achieve success one must leave the comfort expose himself to new challenges in the every field of life. The sixth chapter is all about facing the set backs failures mainly. One must understand that the set backs failures are Gods way of teaching a lesson to make a person strong. There is always a hidden Opportunity in every disaster. The writer believes that there is no ultimate setback there is always a silver lining after a cloudy night that a person never fails unless he accept failure stop trying. One must remember that major decisions of life are taken at the time of set backs failure, not success. Successful people bounce back stronger like a ball after hit by a wall. A person must see the set backs as a learning process. One should understand that he can never change the wind but can always adjust his sales according to the wind. The seventh chapter focuses that one should keep a strong focus on goals, staying determined persisting with patience. Facie believes that focus towards goals should be strong enough to make him get out of bed early in the morning and going till late at night, a person must posses a strong will determination to do what he wants to do in life. So the patience presence are the keys to success as the road o success is never easy. The writer believes that good relationship with people are the asset of successful people. One must learn to be social live with people in a way that they love your presence. Spreading an idea making a team of people who share your similar thoughts beliefs will also help in the Journey. Considering people at your own level status will also make a person a very acceptable member of the community. The eighth chapter is all about living with character. Character is the foremost thing that will help a person in the society. There is a big preference in what is right and what we like, one must understand that difference. Honesty is the best policy so one must be honest to himself as well as to the others. Yale suggest Tanat one must Attlee certain principles AT Tie teen en snouts always follow these principles, no matter what the situation might be and what people comment about them. One must be more concern about his obligations then his rights before taking any decision a person must put himself in others boots. The ninth chapter is all about living with a service attitude. The service attitude is to river the society by contributing in the welfare of it. Facie suggest that one should practice law of giving I. E more you want of something, more you give away of that. He believes that a lot of problems prevailing in the society are only due to the reason of lack of service one should tallest spend 10 % of his income in welfare act. One should stop all the actions that are painful cause discomfort to others. Those who are unable to help the society in monetary terms, they can contribute in the term of other services. The last tenth chapter is all about living in the way Allah Almighty has described. The writer says that you must believe that you need a very sincere friend to live a happy peaceful life that friend can be no better then Allah Almighty. Live in the way God has designed for you leave the rest to him. No one has seen the future except Allah Almighty so one must involves him in decisions to have proper guidance have blind faith in him. One must remember Allah Almighty in good times so that he can remember him in bad times too. Never forget that a person prays for himself not for Allah, so always seek his guidance and be handful at achievements as well as failures The best thing I found about the book is its convincing style. The writer through different quotations lives of successful people clear the myths about success pathway to success in an excellent manner. The deep study of Facie about Islam and its preaching has also added elegance to this book. Each chapter of the book is very comprehensive. The book is written in a very easy language. As a whole the book is a perfect blend of Islam its implications and a must read for everyone.

Balance - Essay Example If a keystone species is removed the balance of that ecosystem may breakdown. For example when they removed wolves from North American woodlands, it caused a spike in prey animal populations and damaged the flow of this system. Question 2 Discuss what a "fish ladder" is and whether or not they contribute to the reproduction of salmon. Fish ladders are designed to be placed in places on the migratory path of fish, like salmon, that is gradient in width, with places for fish to rest in the process of going further and further upstream. The fish ladders are known well to be helpful for adult salmon going upstream. In some ways it is mans way of giving back. So much of manmade structures and endeavors have profound impacts and have interfered in many salmon migratory locales. As helpful as the ladders are in some cases, unfortunately, the ladders are sometimes difficult for the fish to find in the larger bodies of water (USGS, 2013). Question 3 What are the pros and cons of the China's T hree Gorges Dam? Chinaââ¬â¢s Three Gorges Dam is considered the largest construction undertaking since the Great Wall of China. The pros of this immense project include the allowance of ships into the new water way from areas that were before inaccessible, the turbines will provide massive amounts of alternative energy, something China is in need of, and will prevent in the reduction of floods, common in the area for hundreds of years. The cons involving the Three Gorges Dam, include, complaints of corruption in its inceptions and construction via illegal and unethical government activities, there are, also, complaints of poor and potentially, dangerous construction. They claim that corners have been cut to save money in the construction. Many question if the dam is safe. There are also concerns from environmentalists that the dam will ultimately leak toxins into the waters and be no better than previous energy source (Kennedy, 2001). Question 4 What are the forces responsible of creating Hurricanes in the Atlantic ocean. Are they good or bad, why? Hurricanes formed in the Atlantic Ocean are perfectly natural occurrences. However, in recent years experts have noticed that the frequency and immensity of hurricanes is increasing. Warm water and moist, warm air are the ingredients of any hurricanes. The warm moist air from the surface of the ocean travels up and mixes with cooler air, which causes the warm water to turn to vapor creating rain clouds. It is the continuation of this cycle that creates they swirling mass that a hurricane becomes. It is possible that global warming, caused by human beings, may be responsible for the modern frequency of hurricanes (West, 2013). If this is true then this cannot be good. Question 5 What forces are responsible of creating sinkholes. Ultimately it is water that is responsible for sinkholes. Water can weather the minerals in rock, more water may wash away what has broken away, weight and stress from above, and frozen te mperatures, also, contribute, along with drilling, vibration from above, and, of course, everyday wear and tear (Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, 2013)This is what cause a sinkhole. Ethnography interviewing Parents who encourage their children to play Research Paper
Ethnography interviewing Parents who encourage their children to play aggressive sports - Research Paper Example Several parents are in favor of having their children play aggressive sports. One mother that was interviewed gave her side of the story. According to parent Sandra Hemingway (personal communication, August 8, 2011), she allows her 12-year-old daughter to participate in kickboxing because she believes it not only allows her to ââ¬Å"learn valuable self-defense techniques,â⬠but also because she thinks it is wonderful exercise for a young, growing girl. Another parent felt that having his child play an aggressive sport was a rite of passage, and part of his cultural heritage. According to parent Mark Garcia (personal communication, August 8, 2011), he allows his 14-year-old son to participate in soccer because it is a team-oriented sport which has cultural ties to his native homeland of Mexico. It seems that parents are definitely models for how aggressively participants of certain sports can act. According to Dunlap (2005), ââ¬Å"Parents, coaches, teammates, and sport heroes often model support for aggressive styles of playâ⬠¦Ideally, childrens participation in sports should be fun, contribute to physical development, teach skills, [and] help develop social skillsâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (pp. 38). Social skills are important for younger children. Research seems to suggest that, the more aggressive a contact sport is, the weaker the moral fibers of the child participating in the sport. This also suggests that the parents of these children are also going to have scored lower on moral reasoning tests. According to Hughes (2009), ââ¬Å"People who have the greatest interest in highly aggressive contact sports or have participated in them for the longest amounts of time tend to score lower on tests of moral reasoningâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (pp. 49). Parents have actually been proven to be more prone to ââ¬Ësports rage,ââ¬â¢ especially because of their children being involved in aggressive sports events. According to ââ¬Å"New Law Upgrades ââ¬ËSports Rageââ¬â¢ Penaltyâ⬠(2002), ââ¬Å"[L]awmakers cited

Skills required by a project manager Essay Example for Free
Skills required by a project manager Essay The project manager is normally given the authority and the sole responsibility of ensuring that the direction with which a specific project is followed. He works absolutely under the guideline and the goal of the designated project or the whole organization. One of the major responsibilities is to ensure that the end items of the project are met i.e. when, by whom, what, costs, resources, discipline etc within the firm. (Cable and Adams, 1989) Although the project manager usually reports to the general manager of the company, he or she has the authority of defining the organizational structure and ensures that there is effective management of all the sectors in the production units. Since the project manager controls the effectiveness of the tasks being undertaken, in most cases, he or she is able to assign and monitor the budgets within their jurisdiction. The project manager also communicates all matters concerning the company to the general manager or the president for clarification on any matter that is pending. The project manager also communicates with the customers directly especially when dealing with formal projects. In order to therefore perform the above tasks, a project manager should be able to possess excellent skills and qualifications. One of the skills that is necessary is the ability to communicate effectively both with the management and the customers thus requiring good communication skills. The project manager should also be able to organize issues and monitor their implementation especially by junior officers. (Adams, 1990) In cases when the project manager is required to appoint an assistant project manager, the project manager must be able to be fair and treat other people equally regardless of their age, gender, race or disability. Since project manager is able to plan and execute a project successfully, he or she must be able to possess a wide combination of skills both gained in an academic standpoint and in an experimental view point. The character of the person should also be absolutely dynamic in that the project manager must be able to have problem solving abilities. The factor of being hardworking, honest and dedicated cannot also be overlooked. With such qualities, the project manager will therefore be able to ask penetrating questions, resolve interpersonal conflicts and identify unspecified assumptions. A project manager is expected to have high degree of interdependence geared towards accomplishment of tasks available. He or she is expected to stand apart from the junior employees by virtue of position held and help those under them in elucidation of matters relating to the jobs and also advocating for employeesââ¬â¢ rights where there is prejudice. (Adams, 1990) The overall responsibilities for the project manager would be; risk analysis, time estimating, quality control, benefit realization, resource planning, and customer liaison. Managing risks and issues, planning and defining scope of the project, documentation, activity sequencing, team leadership, budget development, developing schedules, tactical influencing and creating charts and schedules (Cable and Adams, 1989) High level posting Since the company needs to have a project manager from the production department, the following are the requirements for this position. The person should have at least ten years experience in the position of project management in a busy manufacturing company. He or she must be a great team player who is ready to work with other people in the company. The person should also have a proven track record of hard work especially with the support of relevant academic background. Reference Adams, J. Stem Cell Research - Embryonic Stem Cells are Human Essay -- Argumenta
Embryonic Stem Cells are Human à à à à Some parties in the human-embryo stem-cell research (ESCR) debate are oblivious to one basic fact: Embryonic Stem Cells Are Human - which is the focus of this essay. ESCR involves post-conception research, regardless of how well the proponents try to disguise the fact. à It's either a life or it's not a life, and it's not much of an argument to say the embryo is going to die anyway. What kind of principle is that? Prisoners on death row are going to die anyway, the homeless are going to die anyway, prisoners in Nazi death camps were going to die anyway. Why not start disemboweling prisoners for these elusive "cures"? à Meanwhile, every Republican with a doddering, 90-year-old parent seems to be enthusiastically supportive on experimenting on human embryos, or "blastocysts," as they are affectionately known to the "scientific community." This generation is so appalled at the idea of having to take care of mom and dad, now they're lashing out at embryos. à Admittedly, the real problem is with the creation of test-tube...

Love for Cooking Essay
Goal: In this paper I tried to open to different ideas to cooking opposed to giving directions about how to cook. I tried to provide each reason with two examples to give readers a better understanding about what food can really be about. Evaluation: I feel like I did good on the overview on covering all the basics on cooking to where itââ¬â¢s understandable and relateable opposed to writing is as a recipe or directions list that most people would think cooking is about. Cooking a satisfying dish has three aspects. The first aspect that is usually the most important is eating with the eyes. An example is how the dish is plated, how it smells, and how appealing and appetizing it looks to the eye. Another example that compares to the first example is that if food is plated sloppy or looks and smells unappetizing, it generally doesnââ¬â¢t catch peoples attention. A second aspect that relates to the first aspect is using fresh ingredients. Using fresh ingredients means a healthier meal, and also getting natural vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, and ect. Another example is using fresh food opposed to processed food, because everyone wants to knows what theyââ¬â¢re eating. One last aspect is making the dish taste fantastic. A dish that tastes good has people eating more of it, even though it might not be good for them to over-stuff. Another reason is people asking for the recipe or asking the chef to prepare their meals boost confidence in the chef knowing she made a good meal for everyone. One thing that will always remain is that feeling of providing something delicious for the community that has them cominging back and a sense of happiness and successfullnes in a chef.
